7/29/2023 0 Comments Zoomify easy reports clover![]() ![]() I have set up the system to accept 1-2 ZIF files and an unlimited number of Hotpots and audio clips. I have successfully created a single image, a tour and a tour with audio with these files. The code works on my test systems for W10/Fedora/Ubuntu. The problem was that I needed to configure the permissions for the file directories correctly. ![]() I hate to loose functionality but I just can't understand all the stuff that they are doing with the files. ![]() My current thinking is to locate all the files under a module directory and then deleting this directory if the module is uninstalled. I think that I have a grip on creating and deleting the node. I am proceeding slowly because its very hard for me to come to grips with drupal's documentation. Want more complexity then customize it through the UI. So the node will provide a title body an image and a zif file. Basically I want to provide a image field and a file field for the zif. The last one I picked for testing generated a 100 meg zif file. Its not hard to generate them with today's software. As a panoramic photographer I have pictures that are in the multi gigabyte size. A huge lot of complexity simply goes away if you don't try to Zoomify existing images on the site. I plan on limiting the module to just supporting the zif format. Still I am going to do a simplified rewrite. And after a weeks work all I have is the ability to get a module to accept a file. Last week I decided to rewrite the whole module myself. I can get the forms fixed easily enough but I cant figure out all the zip file manipulations. It seems very simple till you get into the code. ![]()
